Wessex Gold Riding Club is affilated to British Riding Clubs, and is part of Area 9.  Created in 2011, we welcome junior, senior and non riders.  We offer our members a choice of venue and accredited trainer, so regardless of your current level, we have training sessions to suit you and your Horse.

Membership runs from the 1st of January each year for a 12 month period.

We want you to enjoy your horse, have fun, learn and progress.

Are we the club for you?

Hiring excellent equestrian facilities in Wiltshire, Gloucester, the Cotwolds, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, we can offer you and your horse a choice, you can choose clinics from our comprehensive selection of approved trainers, in a variety of venues.

Being BRC affiliated we offer you the benefits of 3rd party insurance whilst riding with the Club, discounts from local Saddlery's, discounts from other Equestrian associations like BS, plus the quarterly BRC magazine.

If you want to represent the club in Area 9 competitions, everyone gets a chance to compete, either as an individual or within a Team.   What we do ask of all those wanting to compete is that a copy of their horses passport including the vaccination page is sent to us in advance, as BRC are very specific on their requirements, needing all horses and ponies vaccinated every six months, and in the event that you are entered but your horses passport is not accepted, WGRC cannot be responsible.  We ask that you attend the training sesssion with the appropriate Team Trainer, as they are key to selecting  The teams.  The WGRC committee or WGRC members double up as Chef d Equip at the competitions, to help you on the day and arrange the entries pre the competition, please do remember that these people do have full time jobs, horses and a family so please do respond to their requests in a timely manor.  WGRC supports our competitors with the Team Trainer being at the event, when possible, so you can get the best performance, where possible at no cost to you, and so you look the part, all those competing ride in a branded saddle cloths and Team colours.  We also support financially with the BRC entries for those who qualify for a Championship, plus a branded saddle pad is awarded so you are ready to compete.

If you would like to be kept in the "know" on what is happening at Wessex Gold, updates on clinics, events and training tips, please join our mailing list by completing the form.  We will not share your information with any other party.

Our diverse team of qualified trainers can support and push you to achieve any goal.
